Video Player (with Audio) — MP4/MOV/WebM

yutabee

Play MP4, MOV, M4V and WebM videos inside VS Code with sound. ffmpeg extracts the audio and keeps it in sync with the muted video, working around the missing AAC codec in the VS Code webview — audio that actually plays, and stays in sync.

Modern Video Player — with Audio (MP4, MKV, HEVC, WebM)

Brodazz

Play videos with sound in a VS Code tab — real audio out of the box (even AAC), zero setup, no ffmpeg to install. MP4, MKV, MOV, AVI, WebM and HEVC/H.265, video and audio, fully offline. ffmpeg bundled as WebAssembly.
