VS Code extension with Salesforce Inspector–style tools in the editor, plus a real-time Org Live Heat Map. Connects through your authenticated Salesforce CLI orgs.
How to open
After install:
- Org Live Heat Map:
Ctrl+Shift+H/Cmd+Shift+H, or SFDX Inspector: Org Live Heat Map from the Command Palette - Or click the SFDX Inspector icon in the Activity Bar
- Pick your target org in the top bar dropdown.
- Use Data Export, Show All Data, REST Explorer, Heat Map, and the other tools.

Org Live Heat Map
Executive-style dashboard of what is executing in your org right now: Apex async (Future / Queueable / Batch), flows, integrations, plus optional Event Monitoring lanes (logins, reports, API). Cells show LIVE / PASSED / FAILED.
Open from the editor
Use SFDX Inspector: Org Live Heat Map (or Ctrl+Shift+H). The extension opens the board as a full tool surface (Inspector closes so you are not side-by-side). Use the Tools dropdown on the Heat Map bar to jump back to Data Export, Import, and other Inspector screens — only that tool loads.
Use the − / + zoom controls in the Heat Map top bar (saved for next time). Default starts a bit zoomed out so more of the board fits.

Live mode is read-only (SOQL SELECT + limits only).
Production safety
- Data Import blocks writes to production orgs by default.
- To allow them, turn on Allow writes on production in extension Settings, then type the org alias to confirm.
- Heat Map is always read-only.
Themes & fonts
- Dark / Light — switch in the left nav footer
- UI font — choose from 15 fonts in the same footer (saved locally)

Privacy
Access tokens stay on your machine via Salesforce CLI. The extension calls your org’s REST APIs directly; no third-party relay. Screenshots in this repo use masked demo data only.
