Tracks every moment of your project work time. All data is securely saved on your account at justclock.dev.
Vendor: Radeal sp z o.o.
Data Collected by the Extension
- Project name
- Tracked working time
- Extension version
- Authentication data (API Key) for secure communication
The extension does not collect source code, file contents, or any intellectual property.
How It Works
- Activity = typing, cursor/selection movement, scrolling, active file changes, and returning focus to the editor window.
- Idle detection: tracking pauses automatically after a period of inactivity (configurable, on by default). Briefly switching to a browser or terminal to check on your project doesn't stop the timer — only real inactivity does.
- Synchronization: accumulated time is sent to your account at justclock.dev periodically, and immediately whenever tracking goes idle — but only once you've entered an API key and accepted the privacy policy below.
Getting Started
- Get your API key at justclock.dev.
- Open Settings (
Ctrl/Cmd + ,) and search for "JustClock". - Paste your API key into Api Key.
- Enable Privacy Policy Accepted so the extension is allowed to send data.
