View and manage your git stashes directly from the VS Code SCM sidebar — no terminal needed.

- List stashes in the SCM panel with message, ref (
stash@{N}), and origin branch - Browse changed files per stash — expand any stash to see every modified file
- Native diff view — click a file to open a side-by-side diff (before vs. after)
- Apply — apply a stash without removing it
- Pop — apply and remove from the stash list
- Drop — permanently delete a stash (with confirmation)
The Stashes section appears in the Source Control panel (Ctrl+Shift+G / Cmd+Shift+G).
