Control VS Code from Klikor — debug controls, any editor command, and terminal input, all triggered from your Stream Deck-style Klikor buttons.

This is the official, first-party replacement for the abandoned nicollasr.vscode-streamdeck extension. It's a thin WebSocket client: Klikor runs the server, this extension connects to it and executes whatever it's told (run a command, send terminal text, open a folder, insert a snippet).

Settings

Setting Default Description
klikor.serverHost 127.0.0.1 Host/IP where the Klikor desktop app's VS Code bridge server is listening.
klikor.serverPort 48969 Port where the Klikor desktop app's VS Code bridge server is listening.

Changing either setting reconnects immediately using the new value.

Status bar

A status bar item on the right shows the connection state:

  • $(plug) Klikor: Off — not connected to the Klikor desktop app.
  • $(check) Klikor — connected.
  • $(star-full) Klikor — connected, and this window is Klikor's active target (the window that receives its commands when you have more than one VS Code window open).

Click the status bar item at any time to make the current window the active target.

Setup

Klikor Settings → Developer → VS Code must be connected first — enable the VS Code integration there so the desktop app starts its bridge server, then install and enable this extension. It reconnects automatically if the connection drops (checked every 5 seconds).
