Save, organize, and share code snippets without leaving your editor.
DocSnap is a developer tool for capturing and sharing technical documents — code snippets, logs, configs, and more. The VS Code extension puts your entire DocSnap library right in the sidebar so you never have to switch tabs.
Features
Save snippets instantly
Highlight any code, right-click, and save it to your DocSnap library in one click. Or save the entire current file from the editor title menu.
Browse your library in the sidebar
All your snippets are accessible from the DocSnap panel in the activity bar — open any file directly in the editor without leaving VS Code.
Team channels
Join shared channels with your teammates. See snippets they've posted and open them directly in the editor. Post your own selections to the channel feed.
Read-only enforcement
Snippets you don't own open as read-only files so you never accidentally edit someone else's work.
